I’ve never been a fan of French bread. French onion soup gives me indigestion. I like French fries but only from McDonald’s. French cars absolutely SUCK. Give me Italy any day. Anything Italian makes it in my book.
By the way I think you should become a writer. You’re style is very readable and enjoyable.

Hey Todd,
It’s Carole………….I agree with everything my sister Linda said and we finally did get help at the airport from a young girl from S. Africa who was a world traveler. We were in the wrong terminal period and no one would help us.
I had the “luck” of going back to France for more of this treatment last September……….the French have not changed in 10 yrs!! I was on a tour and give me England, Switzerland and Italy any day. Infact, just give me Italy and I am sure Linda would agree. She personally had me so excited for Italy and she was not wrong. Now to quote her seriously……”Have you ever thought of becoming a writer” You do it so well.
Thanks for sharing and thanks to my dear sis via Lars for getting this site to me.
Take care and I will await that first book ….autographed.

Hi Todd,
Just found our from Larry yesterday that you were posting your adventures. Loved your pictures and, of course, your latest comments on the French. I will never forget being at the airport in France in 1999, waiting for your dad, Kathy, Larry and Uncle Ken. My sister Carole and I were meeting them there and then off to Sweden. Of course Carole and I are 2 “country bumpkins” and when we would ask someone at one of the counters if they spoke English, they would say no and then as we walked away they would laugh at us!!Anyway, I am loving your adventures, andhey…have you ever thought about becoming a writer????
